| How do I clean “Museum Glass”? |
| Museum Glass requires minimal cleaning and handling, when well cared for. Often, a light dusting with a clean, dry cloth is all that is needed. It is best to avoid touching the glass with your fingers, as the oils from skin make very noticeable prints on Museum glass. If fingerprints do appear on the glass, however, they can often be buffed out with a clean cloth and a small amount of water, if necessary. Do not use cleaner with ammonia on Museum glass. For very dirty museum glass, we offer a special ammonia-free cleaner here at the gallery for purchase or we can do it for you for a minimal labor fee. |
