A full-time painter since 2003, Jeff Yeomans looks for inspiration in everyday situations, painting urban perspectives, people and landscapes, all exploring the nuances of light and shadow. Comfortable painting in both studio and outdoors, Jeff Yeomans has received numerous regional awards and national recognition for his work, including an invitation to exhibit work at the 2005 International Biennial in Florence Italy. By also exhibiting work in art festivals throughout Southern California, in a short period of time, Yeomans has established himself as an artist whose use of color, design and composition bring a unique honesty to a painting style that sets him apart. He produces relevant work that effectively mirrors contemporary culture, and is a compelling invitation to follow his career as a California painter.
