Original Art - Robin Hall
Robin Hall is not a typical artist. Nor does she work in a typical artist's studio. Some days her studio is a bluff overlooking a valley. Other days it's perched high on the cliffs above the Pacific Ocean. Robin Hall's style of painting, known as plein air (in the open air) is heavily influenced from the French Impressionists. Having studied art throughout her youth, Robin Hall entered college as an art major. Drawn to the scenery that surrounded her growing up in Southern California, she began to paint the beaches, seascapes, and the uninhabited backcountry using her favorite medium, oil paints. Hall has been featured in the prestigious Laguna Beach Festival of Arts and is a member of the California Art Club, whose artists are recognized for the commitment to capturing California's unspoiled and unique beauty on canvas.
