Joanne Crosby is a watercolor artist who paints with astounding clarity and devotion to realism. Joanne Crosby’s botanical studies exhibit a mastery of line, color, representational form and the portrayal of light. Joanne Crosby exhibits her watercolor paintings in solo and group gallery exhibitions. Her work is included in many private and public collections, and she has completed several corporate and private commissions. Additionally, Joanne Crosby's watercolors have been published as the sole color illustrations in the book, Antiqua California, published by the University of New Mexico Press. Joanne Crosby received her art training from Occidental College as well as additional museum watercolor classes. Crosby has taught watercolor painting in the San Diego Oasis Program. Joanne Crosby and her husband reside in the San Diego, California area.
