Dave Vornberger began taking pictures at the age of ten. He graduated from Colorado State University where he studied civil engineering, computer animation, video production, and photography. Since moving to Southern California in 1988, Dave Vornberger has continued to develop his photography. His professional work includes photography for engineering and construction firms, in addition to ongoing editorial, stock, and assignment photography for southern California publications and agencies, real estate companies, corporations, and private clients. The following images are from his Abstracts of Nature series, taken in Laguna Beach, California. These digital prints are made on new Fuji Crystal Archive Polyester base printing material which provides exceptional resistance towards both fading of colors and yellowing of white areas. The end result is a dramatic, ultra high-gloss, high detail, luminescent print with stunning colors and unique image depth.
